Bring Your Own Rake at Jordan Park

Please join Townscape for our second annual "Bring Your Own Rake Event!" This year, Townscape will be working at Jordan Park to get it ready for fall recreational use. On Wednesday, June 21st, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Jordan Park, volunteers will be working to cut back the brush area immediately surrounding the soccer fields, remove brush and branches that may make it hard to retrieve errant soccer balls, clean up fallen branches, and remove trash from the general area. There is much work to be done to help get this recreational space ready for use by the town’s children during soccer season!

Volunteers can RSVP to the event by using Sign-Up Genius to select their “shifts”.

It would be very helpful if volunteers could bring rakes, tarps, shovels, gas-powered weed whackers, and other equipment they might use to clean up their own yards. The newly-opened Capital One Café in Lynnfield’s MarketStreet has kindly offered to provide staffing and some food and beverages for volunteers as part of this event.
